happy 7 pound day to you too...

   Well we found out late last night that I worked today, contrary to what we thought, and not just today, but from 4pm to 11pm, meaning beyond 3 (the earliest dinner hour) I was not free anymore. So our best laid plans of dinner at 4 or 5 were now crap... I suggested dinner earlier, but at 45 minutes in the oven for the dessert (which would have to go in first) and 4 hours for the turkey that would mean getting up at 8... This on my day off was very daunting and on a day jasmine didn't have to take Juliet to school... Well it wasn't happening... we set the alarm anyways, and when it goes off... Jasmine and I tried to waken and then simply said... "I really can't get up and make dinner at this hour..." and went back to sleep... needing the sleep I thought little of it. Then upon awaking to check my latest torrent conquests of the night I find Jasmines name "...dinner's at 4" on msn. Obviously there has been some mistake... Well there goes my holiday season. I mean the money is good; the gifts I can give my family are great. But now I work so they can have a great time without me. It's not worth it.
